Nokia just announced Lumia 1020, the new flagship Windows Phone which runs on Windows Phone OS 8. Nokia has brought with this phone a new revolution among the camera phones. The phone comes with incredible 41 Megapixel Camera and captures really good photos.

The device comes in three colours, white, black and yellow. Nokia previously unveiled 41 Megapixel camera in Nokia 808, which was running on non-popular OS, and so it wasn't a success even with such a good camera. Nokia Wowed everyone by brining the 41 Megapixel camera on a Windows Phone.

Also, Nokia brings Pro Camera App, which offers manual adjustments in the camera settings, like you can tweak the shutter speed, autofocus, ISO, white balance and other camera adjustments. The Optical Image Stabilisation is improves photo quality in low lighting conditions.

The phone comes with 4.5 inch AMOLED screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and the screen is super sensitive to touch. The phone is powered by 2000 mAh battery with wireless charging support.

The camera captures a maximum resolution of 7712 x 5360 pixels which is huge. The default camera app is replaced by Pro Camera App.

The phone comes with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory and Sky Drive gives you 7GB free space on cloud. The phone supports NFC with SIM based security.

Also, Nokia also said that apps like Flipboard and Hipstamatic are on the way to Marketplace.

Nokia is making a lens app for Windows Phone using which you can share your photos from your phone to other social networks, including Instagram - says Gizmodo.

Also, the Gizmodo blog post says that this app is going to be for Lumia 1020 exclusively, so no other Windows Phone is getting anything. And it is too dumb action from Nokia for not making such an app for all Windows 8 Phones.

I didn't like the way they have modded the camera on the back. It looks heavy and doesn't looks normal actually, but we can expect that since you have 41 Megapixel Camera sensor.

The phone will be available from 26th July onwards and will cost $300, and also you can make a pre-order now from the Nokia site.

Nokia also posted the first sample photos which were taken by Nokia Lumia 1020.
