HP introduced today their first laptop that runs on Google’s Chrome OS, HP Chromebook 11. It is also the first laptop which has USB Charging. So, you can use your phone’s charger to charge this Chromebook too.

There are not much Chromebook devices but Google is pushing them gradually. Also, Google’s Chrome App Launcher is a nice step from Google that allows you to use Google chrome’s extensions natively on your Windows, Mac and Chromebook device. There’s an app for almost anything on Chrome Web Store which can be used on desktop too, just like a standalone application.

HP Chromebook 11 is a 11.6 inch device with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The display has 176 degree viewing angles, so no more nudging. You can almost see the screen normally even from the sideways. The screen is typical, super bright Chromebook display.

The HP Chromebook 11 has Exynos 5250 GAIA Application Processor with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 gigs of SSD space. The device has 2 USB 2.0 ports, a Micro-SIM slot for 3G and LTE, and Micro USB port for charging and data transfer.

The connectivity options are Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n. The Chromebook can run actively for 6 hours. It comes with two color options, black and white with four-color accents, blue, green, yellow and red.

Apart from all this, Google is also offering 100 GB Google Drive storage for free for two years and 60-day trial with Google Play Music All Access and $9.99 per month after that.
