iOS 7 Inspired Mac OS X Concept

Apple is now confirmed to hold an event on 22nd of October, and everyone knows now that Apple will be announcing new iPad and MacBooks. The event will be held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

While Apple already announced about OS X Mavericks earlier, which will not be a major update but will have some additions and some improvements, we have here a beautiful and really creative concept for Mac family designed by Vitali Zakharoff.

The concept is inspired from Jony Ive’s iOS 7 design. The icons, the user interface and almost everything is flat with no shadows. The original icons from iOS 7 are also used in the OS X dock. The Notification Center on the right looks like a mix iOS 7’s Control Center and Notification Center.

The login screen looks better with a bigger profile photo. The Finder bar is pretty much same but is dark and translucent. The thought to bring Siri on OS X is really a nice idea, you can search for anything using just your voice.

We know that we are not going to see OS X as shown in the concept ever but it is always good to see such great concepts. With a beautiful blurred wallpaper, iOS 7 icons and flat interface design, I never knew Macs can look so good.
