Skype app for android is completely changed and looks inspired from Windows Phone 8 Interface. The app is now a lot faster and looks better than the previous one.

The main screen is now divided into three sub-screens for Recent Calls, Favorites and People. Users can now easily navigate through these areas by swiping left or right. There are now three action corners, the upper right navigates to your Skype profile, the bottom right to compose a new message and the bottom left for calling a number through Skype.

Truly saying, the performance improvements are huge and the app is really faster and smooth with no lags.

Though, the only thing is some people would have problem finding the settings panel, which now cannot be accessed from the main screen and can only be accessed from the profile page by tapping the menu button.

You can head to Google Play Store and update the app right now.
