Pebble Smartwatch got huge response when the campaign began in 2012 on Kickstarter. And yesterday at CES, they introduced a new smartwatch, which they are calling Pebble Steel.
Pebble Steel is crafted with stainless steel and has Corning Gorilla Glass with anti-fingerprint coating and daylight readable display. Apart from that, Pebble Steel has RGB based tricolour LED for showing the charging status.
Pebble Steel comes with all the features of original Pebble smartwatch and is fully compatible with all Pebble apps.
Pebble Steel has 5 to 7 day battery life and is 5ATM waterproof.
It comes in two finishes, Black Matte and Brushed Stainless. Every Pebble steel comes with leather and metal straps.
Pebble Steel can be ordered now for $249 with no shipping charges for early orders from Pebble’s site. Though the orders will start shipping from 28th of January.
Pebble also announced that they will soon be launching Pebble App Store, a platform for sharing apps that are optimised for Pebble watches.

Pebble App Store will be live in the Pebble app for iOS and Android, so users will be able to install apps on their Pebble Smartwatch right from the phone app.
