Nokia yesterday announced Z Launcher, a new launcher app for Android phones which aims to display right apps at right time on your phone. It works just as other contextual apps like Aviate launcher and Cover lockscreen work. It automatically learns the way you use your phone and promotes your favorite apps so you can get to frequently used apps quickly.
Z Launcher comes with a simple and clean interface with a clock and calendar widget on the top of the screen and a list of apps in the other part of the screen. This list of apps is dynamic and changes automatically.
The app features a unique feature called Scribble to deal with app launching. On your home screen, you just need to draw the first letter of the app that you want to launch it will list all the apps starting with that letter on the home screen. It not only lists the apps but also contacts of your phone, so you can make calls quickly.
Z Launcher is currently available for Nexus 5, Galaxy S5, S4 and S3 running Android 4.1 or higher. It is currently in beta for limited time. You can grab Z Launcher from their website.
